The position is for a Valet Attendant who plays a critical role in the overall guest experience by providing efficient and courteous vehicle parking services. The valet is responsible not only for parking and retrieving guest vehicles safely but also for ensuring the security of vehicles and personal belongings while on the property. Job Requirements
- previous valet experience preferred with 3 years' driving experience
- excellent communication skills both written and oral
- interpersonal skills to deal effectively with business contacts and employees at all levels
- ability of simple reading, writing, math, and task completion skills
- must have skills in driving, following instructions, influencing others, memorization, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making
- flexibility to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekends
- minimum age of 19 years
- must obtain and maintain appropriate licensing with Alcohol Awareness Card
- valid driver's license and must produce acceptable driving record annually per SOP

Job Duties
- open hotel main doors and assist guests/visitors entering and leaving the property
- assist guests with opening/closing vehicle doors
- welcome guests and visitors with appropriate greetings of the day
- acknowledge and greet guests within 25 to 30 seconds and provide professional, fast and friendly service
- communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors
- tag guest vehicle keys with date and time, registration number, make/model, room number or contact number of the guest
- verify guests' ticket with the one attached to the key before handing over keys or vehicle to guests
- effectively park and retrieve guests' cars without causing damage
- drive and operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- provide guests with information regarding property facilities, amenities, services, special events
- give fond farewell to departing guests per GSR standards
- monitor and direct personal and commercial vehicle traffic on property
- maintain security of vehicles, belongings, and vehicle keys
- follow up with guests to ensure requests or problems are met to satisfaction
- document and report vehicle incidents
- report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
- monitor and maintain safety, security, and cleanliness of parking areas, portico and key booth
- re-route traffic when parking reaches capacity and inform staff
- any other duties as assigned within scope of position
