The Guest Service Associate role at Towne Park is an integral position that focuses on delivering outstanding hospitality and service to guests. This full-time position features an hourly base pay of $19.29 and a consistent Monday to Friday schedule from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., offering a balanced work-life connection. The Guest Service Associate is responsible for parking and retrieving guest vehicles, ensuring a smooth and safe process that reflects Towne Park's high standards of service. Beyond vehicle management, the associate assists guests with their luggage, offering bell services such as delivery and storage where applicable. This role requires not only technical skills in parking and vehicle handling but also a genuine dedication to hospitality, as associates greet guests warmly, use their names, and provide direction and information about local attractions and amenities. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license for the applicable state or commutable distance
  • Minimum of one month related experience or training
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Capability to perform basic math operations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to operate a vehicle safely and cautiously

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within a commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions and write correspondences
  • Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor
  • Use guest last names during interactions
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
  • Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
  • Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
  • Provide guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms and amenities of the facility as well as main attractions in the area
  • Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to appropriate places approved by the location
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
  • Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks from all guests prior to issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, location of vehicle, damage survey and claim check receipt from all vehicles taken into the valet system
  • Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
