The role being offered is that of a Guest Services Associate, a pivotal position within the hospitality facet of community management. This role is customer service driven, requiring an individual who is outgoing, friendly, and enjoys interacting with people. The Guest Services Associate is responsible for greeting residents and guests as they arrive and depart, offering assistance with baggage, packages, groceries, parking, and providing valuable information. This position is designed for individuals who excel in communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating a strong sense of customer care and attention to detail. The associate serves as the first point of contact for residents and guests, answering inquiries related to hotel services, guest registration, and local information such as shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions.
Compensation for this role is competitive, offering $18.00 per hour plus tips. The schedule is from Thursday to Monday, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, supporting community operations during peak evening hours. The duties extend beyond customer interaction to include maintaining equipment in working condition, reporting maintenance issues, resolving complaints, and following safety procedures to maintain a secure work environment. Physical demands of the job include heavy lifting of baggage up to 100 lbs and the ability to work in various environmental conditions including heat, cold, wind, and rain.
This full-time non-exempt position includes comprehensive benefits such as multiple medical plans, dental and vision insurance, paid holidays, time off, and a 401k plan with company match. Associates may also have opportunities for occasional travel for training and company events. Equal employment opportunity and inclusion are core values at FirstService Residential, demonstrating a commitment to diversity without discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or other protected statuses. Candidates requiring reasonable accommodations for the selection process are encouraged to request assistance, ensuring equity throughout the hiring process.
