The hotel celebrates the arts through its modern design inspired by music, painting, sculpture, and other creative disciplines. Renowned as one of Milwaukee's most esteemed hotels with an impressive award history, Saint Kate caters to a diverse clientele including theater enthusiasts, food connoisseurs, and entertainment seekers, making it much more than just a place to stay, but a cultural hub that enriches the guest experience. Marcus Hotels & Resorts themselves have a rich 60-year legacy of service excellence and operational expertise, with a commitment to providing extraordinary experiences for both guests and employees. Their portfolio encompasses 15 distinctive hotels and resorts across the United States, known for combining character, style, and superior hospitality.
Saint Kate is currently seeking a part-time Valet to join their dynamic Guest Services team. This role is pivotal as the first point of contact for guests, responsible for welcoming them warmly, efficiently parking and retrieving their vehicles, and assisting with luggage. The Valet will set the tone for a memorable stay by providing prompt and safe service with professionalism and grace. This position demands excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to remain composed during busy or emergency situations, and strong physical stamina to manage luggage and vehicle tasks effectively. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s license with at least two years of driving experience and a clean driving record, along with a high school diploma or equivalent. Prior hospitality or valet experience is preferred, although enthusiasm and a customer-focused mindset are equally valued.
This opportunity not only offers a chance to be part of a prestigious and creative hotel environment but also provides tangible benefits including free meals during shifts, room discounts at Marcus Hotels & Resorts properties, and access to various discounts on hotel dining, entertainment, golfing, skiing, and spa services. Employees also benefit from a discounted parking and bus pass program, entertainment perks like "two for one" movie coupons at Marcus Theatres, career growth potential within the company, and paid time off. Working as a Valet at Saint Kate allows you to engage with a diverse community, participate in an enriching cultural atmosphere, and develop a rewarding career path within a respected hospitality group. Saint Kate embraces diversity and inclusion and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. This role is perfect for individuals eager to dive into the world of creativity while delivering exceptional guest service in a lively hotel setting.
