The Valet Parking Attendant is responsible for the safe and efficient parking and retrieval of guest vehicles, ensuring a high level of customer service throughout the interaction. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage customer needs promptly and courteously. Working closely with the Operations Manager and Shift Supervisors, the attendant helps to maintain operational efficiency and safety standards while complying with local and state regulations.

Key duties include greeting guests respectfully, coordinating the valet service process, using electronic devices to manage customer information, safely parking and retrieving vehicles, inspecting vehicles for damage, and providing assistance with luggage or personal belongings. The attendant also plays a role in vehicle safety, including traffic direction and the use of barricades, and contributes to financial processes such as fee collection and revenue reconciliation.

The role demands stamina and physical coordination, as attendants must be able to walk or run between the valet stand and vehicles for extended periods, operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles, and occasionally lift items weighing up to 50 pounds. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver's license with good driving records
  • Must successfully pass a background check in accordance with company policy and applicable laws
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to provide documentation verifying eligibility as required by the Department of Homeland Security
  • Reimagined Parking participates in the E-Verify program to confirm employment eligibility

Job Duties

  • Coordinate the full valet service process from arrival to departure including greeting guests retrieving keys issuing tickets and entering customer information via electronic devices
  • Park and retrieve guest vehicles safely and efficiently ensuring proper vehicle placement and accurate tracking of vehicle location
  • Inspect vehicles for pre-existing damage and document findings using electronic or manual ticketing systems
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by building rapport responding promptly to inquiries and providing directions or assistance as needed
  • Act as a professional brand ambassador by courteously interacting with guests opening vehicle doors and assisting with unloading and loading personal items
  • Maintain vehicle safety and security by directing traffic positioning barricades monitoring ramp or drive areas and arranging towing services when required
  • Request collect and accurately process applicable valet fees assist with reconciling end-of-shift revenue and ticket distribution
  • Retrieve vehicles promptly for waiting guests and assist with luggage or personal items when necessary
  • Immediately report incidents accidents or claims to the Operations Manager or Shift Lead
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with guests clients supervisors and teammates at all times
