The Valet Parking Attendant is responsible for managing the entire valet service process, including greeting guests upon arrival, safely parking and retrieving vehicles, and ensuring the utmost professionalism and courtesy throughout each interaction. This role is crucial in maintaining the seamless flow of parking operations, overseeing vehicle safety and security, and assisting guests with luggage or directions as needed. The attendant will use electronic ticketing systems to document vehicle conditions and track vehicle locations, ensuring accuracy and accountability. Due to the operational demands, the position requires physical stamina to move swiftly between the valet station and vehicles, sometimes running or walking for extended periods during shifts.

Prior experience in valet parking is preferred, especially the ability to operate manual transmission vehicles, but training will be provided. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Coordinate the full valet service process from arrival to departure including greeting guests retrieving keys issuing tickets and entering customer information via electronic devices
  • Park and retrieve guest vehicles safely and efficiently ensuring proper vehicle placement and accurate tracking of vehicle location
  • Inspect vehicles for pre-existing damage and document findings using electronic or manual ticketing systems
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by building rapport responding promptly to inquiries and providing directions or assistance as needed
  • Act as a professional brand ambassador by courteously interacting with guests opening vehicle doors and assisting with unloading and loading personal items
  • Maintain vehicle safety and security by directing traffic positioning barricades monitoring ramp or drive areas and arranging towing services when required
  • Request collect and accurately process applicable valet fees assist with reconciling end-of-shift revenue and ticket distribution
  • Retrieve vehicles promptly for waiting guests and assist with luggage or personal items when necessary
  • Immediately report incidents accidents or claims to the Operations Manager or Shift Lead
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with guests clients supervisors and teammates at all times
