As a Valet Parking Attendant, your primary responsibility is to ensure the safe and efficient parking of guest vehicles, while also providing service that exceeds customer expectations. This involves mobilizing and coordinating the entire valet process from the moment the guest arrives until the vehicle is safely parked or retrieved. You will be the face of the company, acting as a courteous brand ambassador who enhances customer success, happiness, and retention by engaging warmly with guests and addressing their needs promptly and professionally.

Your duties will encompass retrieving vehicle keys, issuing tickets, using electronic devices to manage customer data, inspecting vehicles for preexisting damage, and adhering closely to all safety and security protocols. You will be expected to direct traffic, position barricades, and ensure the parking area is orderly to maximize safety for guests and employees alike. Financial responsibility is also a key part of this role, as you will request and collect fees, reconcile end-of-shift revenue, and maintain accurate records to support operational integrity.

Job Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to verbally communicate with guests
  • Acceptable driving record and motor vehicle report
  • Ability to learn quickly and use sound decision making
  • Ability to operate guest vehicles requiring normal coordination
  • Ability to move from valet stand to customer cars by walking or running for extended periods
  • Previous valet experience preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in valet parking or similar customer service role preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles

Job Duties

  • Mobilize and coordinate the valet process by retrieving keys and issuing tickets

  • Deploy vehicle safety procedures by directing traffic, positioning barricades, and inspecting vehicles
