The position of Valet Parking Attendant at Charlotte Airport offers a dynamic and engaging role within the hospitality and transportation services industry. Situated at 5601 Wilkinson Blvd, this key position supports the smooth operation of valet services in a bustling airport environment, ensuring guests experience seamless vehicle parking and retrieval. Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to verbally communicate with guests
- Acceptable driving record and motor vehicle report
- Ability to learn quickly and use sound decision making
- Ability to operate guest vehicles requiring normal coordination
- Ability to move from valet stand to customer cars by walking or running for extended periods
- Previous valet experience preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in valet parking or similar customer service role preferred
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments and make sound decisions
- Physical ability to walk and run throughout entire shifts
Job Duties
- Mobilize and coordinate the valet process by retrieving keys and issuing tickets
- Foster customer success and build rapport by addressing inquiries and providing directions
- Serve as a courteous brand ambassador by assisting guests with vehicle doors and unloading
- Deploy vehicle safety procedures by directing traffic, positioning barricades, and inspecting vehicles
- Manage financial operations including fee collection and end-of-shift revenue reconciliation
- Greet guests upon arrival and assist with luggage when necessary
- Communicate professionally with guests, clients, and teammates
