Job Description
Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts stands as a global leader in luxury hospitality, renowned for delivering exceptional experiences that blend elegance with genuine warmth. At the core of Four Seasons' success is its dedicated team of professionals who continuously strive to exceed expectations, creating memorable stays and lasting impressions for guests worldwide. As a company, it prioritizes a culture that fosters growth, inclusiveness, and mutual respect, recognizing that the happiness and wellbeing of its employees directly translate into the quality of service delivered. Employing a diverse group of talented individuals, Four Seasons demonstrates a commitment to excellence through personalized attention and by cultivating an environment where employees are valued and empowered to thrive.
The Four Seasons Hotel Seattle, a sleek urban retreat in the heart of the Pacific Northwest, offers a unique setting surrounded by majestic snow-capped mountains, serene deep-blue waters, and vibrant evergreen forests. Nestled in downtown Seattle, this location provides guests with proximity to key cultural landmarks such as the Seattle Art Museum, the iconic Pike Place Market, and the picturesque Elliott Bay waterfront. The hotel combines the tranquil beauty of nature with the energetic pulse of city life, presenting visitors an extraordinary opportunity to explore eclectic neighborhoods, enjoy locally crafted culinary delights at Goldfinch Tavern, and partake in outdoor adventures like hiking Mount Rainier or kayaking on Lake Union.
Currently, the Four Seasons Hotel Seattle is seeking a Full-Time Valet Parking Attendant who embodies the company’s passion for excellence and outstanding customer service. This role is integral to the dynamic team dedicated to providing award-winning hospitality experiences and serves as an ambassador, welcoming guests with professionalism and care upon arrival. Reporting to the Front Office Manager, the Valet Parking Attendant will be responsible for ensuring guests’ vehicles are handled securely and efficiently, creating a seamless arrival and departure experience.
This position requires a commitment to safety and attentiveness, with duties encompassing not only the operation of vehicles — including manual transmission cars — but also delivering top-tier guest interactions marked by warmth, courtesy, and helpfulness. The role demands physical stamina for standing throughout shifts and the ability to manage luggage carts and boxes of considerable weight. Valet Parking Attendants must be adept at recognizing and documenting any vehicle damage, facilitating smooth communication through ticketing, and providing guests with local insights and directions to enhance their stay. The offered compensation is $21.30 per hour, plus gratuities and applicable porterage fees, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
Joining Four Seasons Hotel Seattle means becoming part of a welcoming community that values individual contributions and fosters professional development through training programs and growth opportunities. Employees benefit from competitive paid time off, excellent health coverage including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plans with employer matching, and additional perks like complimentary room nights, meals, uniform care, and employee assistance programs. The company genuinely invests in the wellbeing of its staff, offering paid parental leave, disability benefits, life insurance, and education reimbursement options, reflecting a holistic approach to employee satisfaction and career progression.
In this role, candidates with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and dedication to delivering intuitive, personalized service will thrive. Four Seasons Hotel Seattle encourages applications from diverse candidates, including minorities, women, veterans, and individuals with disabilities, affirming its commitment to equal opportunity. Those seeking a rewarding career in luxury hospitality, where they can make meaningful connections and contribute to creating exceptional guest experiences, will find an ideal opportunity here at Four Seasons.
