Job Description

The hospitality industry is known for its commitment to exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for guests. One of the companies leading this charge is HHM, a distinguished hotel and resort group that prides itself on delivering top-tier guest experiences through sustainable and innovative practices. HHM not only values the comfort and satisfaction of its guests but also prioritizes environmental stewardship through its EarthView program, which focuses on sustainability guidelines and practices. HHM offers a dynamic work environment where employees can grow professionally and personally, supported by a culture that emphasizes people, excellence, and agility.

HHM is currently seeking motivated individuals to join their team as Valet Attendants. This hourly position offers competitive compensation ranging from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, making it an attractive opportunity for both full-time and part-time applicants looking to enter or advance within the hospitality industry. The role of a Valet Attendant is critical in ensuring a smooth and courteous reception for guests, setting the tone for their overall stay.

As a Valet Attendant with HHM, the primary focus is on guest service and sustainability. The role requires greeting guests promptly upon their arrival and departure, parking and retrieving vehicles efficiently, and handling guests' luggage and packages with care. Valet Attendants must ensure the proper use of claim tickets to maintain accuracy and avoid any discrepancies in vehicle handling. Attention to detail, physical stamina, and a customer-focused attitude are essential to succeed in this role.

Beyond the core valet duties, employees are expected to follow safety protocols including wearing protective safety equipment and adhering to OSHA standards. The role demands physical activity such as standing for long periods, walking, bending, and lifting packages or luggage up to 75 pounds. HHM provides a supportive work environment where safety and well-being are prioritized.

At HHM, career growth is encouraged and mapped out clearly. Starting from the position of a Guest Service Agent to Bell Captain and eventually advancing to Guest Service Manager, employees have a structured path to develop their skills and take on greater responsibilities within the company. This approach ensures that every team member has the opportunity to build a rewarding career within the hospitality sector.

The company supports its employees with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision health insurance, paid time off, a 401k company match, and free basic life insurance. Additional perks such as travel discounts, commuter transit benefits, and an employee assistance and wellness program contribute to a positive and fulfilling work experience. Educational and professional development opportunities are also available, along with a referral bonus program designed to incentivize and reward conscientious employees.

HHM believes in the power of people as their greatest capability and operates with values that emphasize hearts that serve, excellence in service, flexibility, and accountability. The work environment is dynamic, requiring flexibility to work varied schedules including weekends and holidays, emphasizing the hotel's commitment to guest service around the clock.

Overall, the Valet Attendant role at HHM is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality, sustainability, and delivering outstanding guest experiences. The position offers not only a competitive wage but also the chance to be part of a company that values personal growth, safety, and community engagement while fostering a culture of excellence and nimbleness.
