The role in question is a part-time, non-management position located at 2552 Kalakaua Ave, Honolulu, Hawaii. This position is within the Rooms and Guest Services Operations category and offers a wage of $20.28 per hour, with eligibility for tips. It requires a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and although not mandatory, the ability to drive a manual transmission is preferred. The job demands flexible availability due to its on-call nature. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide excellent customer service by welcoming and assisting guests and visitors entering and leaving the hotel. It involves controlling and directing traffic for personal and commercial vehicles, including guest vehicles, taxis, limousines, and buses, ensuring proper parking compliance and maintaining an efficient traffic flow.

This position also entails providing guests with directions and information about hotel amenities, services, operating hours, and local areas of interest. Ensuring the security, protection, and cleanliness of parking areas is crucial, as is promptly reporting any safety hazards or security concerns to management. The employee is responsible for safeguarding vehicles and keys and communicating parking procedures clearly to guests. This role requires adherence to Marriott’s policies and procedures, reporting incidents, injuries, or unsafe working conditions, and maintaining confidentiality and protection of company property. The ability to interact professionally, courteously, and clearly with guests and co-workers is essential. Job Duties

  • Open doors and assist guests and visitors entering and leaving the hotel
  • control and direct traffic of personal and commercial vehicles including guest vehicles, taxis, limousines and buses
