The role of the Bell/Valet Service Assistant is integral to maintaining the flow of guest services, particularly in supporting bell and valet staff in expediting luggage and vehicle assistance without directly driving any vehicles. This role focuses on enhancing the guest experience by ensuring prompt and courteous handling of luggage and vehicle claims, organizing and securing keys, and serving as a point of communication for special guest requests. The ideal candidate will embody professionalism, exhibit a strong work ethic, and demonstrate excellent organizational skills. This position offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities to engage with diverse guests, and it requires a dependable and attentive individual who can work well as part of a team. Responsibilities extend beyond typical luggage and valet support to include managing guest concerns, coordinating services like laundry and taxi arrangements, and maintaining the integrity and safety of the work environment. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 1 year of guest service or related experience
- effective verbal and written communication skills in English
- ability to walk stand or sit for extended periods
- ability to lift and move products up to 50 lbs
- fine finger manipulation
- work in variable temperature lighting and noise levels
- perform indoor and outdoor work during events
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Greet each guest with a smile and eye contact using the guest's name if known
- issue and receive guests claim check for luggage
- retrieve luggage for the guests
- organize guest luggage and ensure bellman or valet person assists guest timely
- receive guest claim checks for cars and pull keys for valet driver
- ensure guest vehicle keys are put away properly
- keep guest vehicle key area neat, organized, and secure
- professionally answer telephone calls at bell/valet desk and direct calls appropriately
- coordinate special guest requests like laundry and taxi service
- address guest concerns and complaints promptly
- maintain effective communication with Nugget team and guests
- recognize team members going above and beyond
- follow Nugget policies and local regulations consistently
- perform work safely and maintain safe environment
- immediately report unsafe conditions or incidents
- maintain positive and professional image of Nugget
- maintain regular predictable attendance
- perform other assigned duties
