Job Description
ABM is a leading global facility services provider with a strong reputation for delivering comprehensive solutions that enhance the environments where people live, work, and visit. Established in 1909, ABM operates with a commitment to sustainability, safety, and innovation, serving a diverse clientele that includes commercial office buildings, educational institutions, airports, hospitals, data centers, manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and entertainment venues. With over 100,000 employees and more than 350 offices worldwide, ABM focuses on improving the quality, efficiency, and reliability of the assets they manage through janitorial services, engineering, parking, electrical and lighting, HVAC, landscaping, and many other mission critical solutions.
ABM is currently seeking a Valet to join their team, providing professional, courteous, and compassionate guest services. This role is ideal for individuals entering or re-entering the workforce and rewards employees with opportunities to develop skills in customer service, communication, and vehicle management within a structured and supportive work environment. The position offers an hourly wage of $12.50, with exact compensation dependent on experience, skills, abilities, location, and market alignment. The shift schedule is Monday through Friday from 7am to 3pm, promoting work-life balance and regular hours for the successful candidate.
As a Valet at ABM, you will coordinate efficient traffic flow and ensure a smooth parking operation while maintaining safety and security. This involves greeting guests warmly, assisting them with loading and unloading their vehicles, collecting and securing keys, and processing various payment types promptly and accurately. Valets must be attentive to parking policies, anticipate peak traffic and potential delays, and organize extra support when needed to minimize wait times. The role also requires keeping track of tips and revenue, maintaining a clean and hazard-free workspace, and operating vehicles safely in compliance with traffic laws and facility regulations.
Working outdoors in varying weather conditions is an essential part of this role, so resilience and endurance are necessary traits. ABM values military veterans and encourages candidates with military experience to apply, recognizing the transferable skills veterans bring to their team. The company is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity, inclusion, and providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities. ABM also participates in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s E-Verify program to ensure employment eligibility.
Joining ABM means being part of a respected military-friendly employer that offers comprehensive benefits and career development opportunities. Employees have access to a world-class training program designed to help advance their skills and career paths. ABM’s commitment to employee wellness and growth makes it an excellent choice for job seekers aiming for a stable, rewarding position within a reputable and forward-thinking global company.
