The Guest Service Associate role at Towne Park embodies the company’s mission to create smiles through exceptional service. This position is pivotal in ensuring guests receive attentive, friendly, and timely assistance throughout their visit. As a Guest Service Associate, you will play an essential role in welcoming guests, managing the parking and retrieval of vehicles safely and efficiently, and handling guest luggage with care and professionalism. The position requires working flexible hours within the window of 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., including weekends. Compensation is competitive and starts at $15.16 per hour plus tips, reflective of candidates’ skills, experience, education, and geographic location.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must hold a valid driver's license for the state you are applying to work or within a commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read and write standard English language
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients and other employees of the organization
  • Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s
  • ability to perform these operations using units of American money
  • Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Perform parallel parking

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
  • Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
  • Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
  • Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
  • Provide information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and local attractions
  • Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
  • Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks prior to issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipt
  • Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
