This position is hourly, with a pay range of $15 to $17 per hour plus daily cash tips. The work schedule is open availability from Monday through Friday, accommodating flexibility for employees while ensuring consistent and reliable service coverage. As a Guest Service Associate with Towne Park, your primary responsibility is to provide exceptional hospitality and parking services that enhance the guests’ overall experience. This includes parking and retrieving guest vehicles safely, assisting with luggage handling during arrivals and departures, and promptly responding to guest needs with a courteous and friendly demeanor. The role demands a high level of professionalism and attentiveness, as associates greet and interact with guests, convey information about parking procedures, local amenities, and venue attractions, and ensure the security of guest vehicles through diligent ticketing and key handling processes. The Guest Service Associate functions as an ambassador of the Towne Park brand, upholding company standards of service and operational efficiency. This role requires the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy luggage and standing for extended periods in outdoor weather conditions. Flexibility is essential, as employees must be prepared to work under various environmental elements and may be required to travel occasionally. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must hold a valid driver's license
- One month related experience or training
- Ability to perform customer service duties
- Ability to operate vehicles safely
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Availability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to follow established practices and procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours including Monday through Friday
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as stooping, kneeling, and reaching
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver's license for the state or within a commutable distance
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and perform multiplication and division with 10s and 100s
- Ability to perform these operations using American money units
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintains pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients
- Acknowledges and greets guests within five feet
- Uses guest last names during interactions
- Uses salutation of the day and welcomes guests
- Practices proper Towne Park phone etiquette
- Posts up in designated areas when not completing tasks
- Parks and retrieves vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
- Assists guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
- Opens all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
- Provides guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and main local attractions
- Delivers messages, items, and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttles guests to approved locations
- Explains parking rates and retrieval procedures
- Issues claim checks after receiving vehicle keys
- Collects claim checks prior to issuing keys
- Completes and maintains all ticket information
- Calculates and collects revenue for vehicles when needed
