Job Description

Banker's Alley Hotel is a distinguished hospitality establishment known for its commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences through attentive and personalized services. As a part of the renowned Towne Park valet service network, this hotel emphasizes quality customer service and operational excellence in its valet team. Seasonal Valet Drivers are a vital component of the hotel's guest relations, serving as the first and last point of contact for many visitors. This position offers an hourly wage ranging from $15 to $23, inclusive of potential daily cash tips, making it an attractive opportunity for those interested in the hospitality and service industry. Shifts are flexible and available across all time frames, catering to a variety of schedules. There is also a possibility of temporary roles converting to permanent employment based on performance and business needs.

The role of the Seasonal Valet Driver at Banker's Alley Hotel is centered around providing outstanding hospitality support and vehicle management services. Valet Drivers are responsible for parking and retrieving guests' vehicles in a careful and timely manner while ensuring customer satisfaction and safety. In addition to vehicle management, they assist guests with their luggage and offer directions, local information, and recommendations to enhance the overall guest experience. This role demands a courteous and professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment that often involves varied weather conditions due to the outdoor nature of the work. While no prior experience is necessary, candidates must possess a valid driver's license and have a basic understanding of customer service principles. The position entails physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving luggage and enduring outdoor weather elements for the duration of shifts. In return, employees gain valuable experience in hospitality operations and customer interaction, with the opportunity to grow within the organization. Towne Park supports their employees with benefits such as accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity, telemedicine services, and a 401k retirement plan (eligibility depending on employment classification and tenure). Overall, this role offers a unique opportunity to engage with guests directly, hone interpersonal skills, and contribute meaningfully to the high standards of service at Banker's Alley Hotel, making it an excellent way to build a foundational career in the hospitality industry.
