Job Requirements
- Hold a valid driver’s license for the state you are applying to work or within a commutable distance
- One month related experience and or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings
- Ability to perform arithmetic operations with three-digit numbers and money calculations
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Physical ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 20 pounds constantly
- Ability to work outdoors for extended periods including extreme weather conditions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid driver's license for the state of employment or a commutable distance
- Minimum of one month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of customer service principles and processes
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend standard English
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using American money units
- Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, coworkers, and clients
- Greet guests within five feet using a professional and friendly approach
- Use guest last names during interactions
- Use proper Towne Park phone etiquette and post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
- Park and retrieve vehicles cautiously while driving slowly
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
- Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries
- Provide information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and local attractions
- Deliver messages, items, or guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures upon guest arrival
- Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks before returning keys
- Maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey, and claim check receipt
- Calculate and collect revenue from vehicles as needed
