Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- High school diploma or GED
- One month related experience or equivalent education and training
- Ability to read, write and comprehend English
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to perform basic mathematical operations
- Capacity to understand time and rate systems
- Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Willingness to work outdoors and in variable weather
- Availability to work weekdays between 10 am and 7 pm
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid driver’s license for the state or commutable distance
- One month related experience or equivalent education and training
- Knowledge of customer service principles and personal services
- Ability to read, write and comprehend standard English
- Ability to present information clearly in one-on-one and small group settings
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Understanding of 24-hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand applicable rates
- Ability to operate manual transmission and perform parallel parking is highly desirable
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using their last names
- Use salutation of the day and welcome guests
- Practice proper phone etiquette
- Park and retrieve vehicles safely and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Provide guests with directions, taxis, reservations and facility information
- Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
- Issue and collect claim checks consistently
- Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tags, guest folios, vehicle location and damage surveys
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles as needed
