Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Valid driver’s license for state applying to work or within commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to understand instructions and correspondence
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations with money
  • Ability to operate manual transmission highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking
  • Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Availability to work weekdays between 10am and 7pm
  • Reliable transportation to work location

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state or within commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with money
  • Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand applicable rates and time
  • Manual transmission operation highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests and co-workers
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
  • Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
  • Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
  • Issue and collect claim checks
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tags, guest folios, vehicle location and damage surveys
  • Calculate and collect revenue when needed
