Towne Park is currently seeking motivated individuals to join their team as Valet Drivers at the Hilton Hotel in Downtown Cleveland. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that values safety, professionalism, and outstanding guest service. The starting pay for this position is $11.50 per hour plus daily cash tips, with additional bonus pay for overnight shifts. Both full-time and part-time employees are eligible to receive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- At least 18 years of age
- Pass criminal background and drug screening
- One month related experience or training or equivalent education
- Knowledge of customer service principles
- Ability to read and write English
- Basic math skills
- Ability to comprehend instructions and correspondence
- Ability to present information clearly
- Ability to operate a manual transmission preferred
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend and write simple correspondence
- Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division using American money units
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand applicable rates
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
- Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette and post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
- Park and retrieve vehicles driving slowly and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and inquiries
- Provide information about hotel outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and local attractions
- Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
- Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks prior to issuing keys
- Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey, and claim check receipt
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
