Job Requirements
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state or within a commutable distance
- Ability to perform duties with specific directions and operational guidelines
- Capacity to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to stand, walk, run, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions including extreme heat and cold
- Ability to talk and hear regularly during work
- Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor with guests and coworkers
- Availability to work weekdays, weekends, holidays and all shifts
- Willingness to travel up to 5 percent
- Capacity to follow established practices and procedures with frequent supervision
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid driver’s license for the state or commutable distance
- One month related experience or equivalent education and training
- Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
- Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with money
- Understanding of 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand applicable rates and charges
- Manual transmission driving skills highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Provides exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner
- Parks and retrieves guest vehicles safely and promptly
- Assists guests with luggage delivery and pick up where applicable
- Greets guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor using guest last names
- Uses appropriate greetings and practices proper phone etiquette
- Posts up in designated areas when not performing tasks
- Assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and inquiries
- Provides information about facility amenities and local attractions
- Delivers messages, items, and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttles guests to approved locations
- Explains parking rates and retrieval procedures
- Issues claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collects claim checks prior to key return
- Completes and maintains ticket information including key tags, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey, and claim check receipts
- Calculates and collects revenue when necessary
