Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license for applicable state or commutable distance
  • One month related experience or training or equivalent
  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively communicate with guests and coworkers
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic involving money
  • Ability to understand 24 hour and military time
  • Ability to understand parking rates and procedures
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state or within commutable distance
  • One month related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend standard English
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to perform basic math operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Understanding of 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers and clients
  • Greet guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor using guest last names
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location, practice proper phone etiquette
  • Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously, assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and inquiries
  • Provide information about outlets, meeting rooms and amenities
  • Deliver messages, items and guest amenities
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures, issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys
  • Collect claim checks prior to issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipt
  • Calculate and collect revenue when needed
