Job Description
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is a premier hospitality and entertainment company known for its unique and immersive African-themed resorts. These resorts feature America’s Largest Indoor Waterparks, world-class dining experiences, luxurious spas, thrilling entertainment options, and state-of-the-art convention centers. As a leader in the hospitality industry, Kalahari Resorts & Conventions focuses on providing guests with unforgettable vacation experiences that combine relaxation, excitement, and exceptional service.
Being a family-owned business, Kalahari stands out by living its company promise to 'Lead with Love.' This philosophy reflects their deep commitment to caring for guests, associates, and the community alike. It means treating everyone like family, contributing positively to society, and creating inclusive environments where all individuals feel appreciated and valued. Beyond the walls of their resorts, Kalahari actively supports charitable efforts such as charity: water, aiming to bring clean water access to one million people in Africa, showing their dedication to global impact and social responsibility.
The role of Part Time Valet Driver at Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is essential in delivering this exceptional guest experience from the very first moment visitors arrive. The Valet Driver’s primary responsibility is to ensure guests receive a warm welcome and efficient, attentive service by safely parking vehicles and handling luggage. This position requires a high level of customer service, friendliness, and professionalism as it often forms guests’ first and last impressions of the resort.
As a Part Time Valet Driver, you will be part of a dynamic leadership team that upholds the value of 'Leading with Love' by supporting and inspiring colleagues and serving guests with care and respect. This role goes beyond basic parking duties — it involves engaging with guests, answering their questions, providing helpful information about local attractions and resort activities, and assisting in guest transportation needs within the property. Ensuring a seamless and courteous arrival and departure process contributes greatly to the overall satisfaction and memorable experience that Kalahari Resorts strives to provide.
The position is ideal for individuals who take pride in their driving skills, especially those experienced with various types of vehicles, including both automatic and manual transmissions. Candidates who enjoy working in a dynamic environment, connecting with people from diverse backgrounds, and being a vital part of a hospitality team will find tremendous opportunity and fulfillment in this role. Kalahari values hospitality experience, particularly within resort or hotel settings, but also invests in developing its team members through internal promotion and career growth programs.
Working at Kalahari offers access to a range of benefits that support your health, well-being, and professional development. From healthcare coverage and paid time off to discounts and events for employees, Kalahari fosters a workplace where associates feel supported and valued. The resort locations span Wisconsin Dells, WI; Sandusky, OH; Pocono Manor, PA; Round Rock, TX; and Spotsylvania County, VA, providing diverse opportunities within a nationally recognized resort brand. Kalahari Resorts has been recognized by Forbes as one of America’s Best Midsize Employers and Best Employers for Women, and named the #1 Best Indoor Water Park by USA TODAY, reflecting its commitment to excellence in both guest service and employee satisfaction.
Joining Kalahari as a Part Time Valet Driver means being part of a company that delivers extraordinary experiences and fosters a culture built on love, trust, and growth. You will have the chance to impact guest experiences positively every day, develop your skills in a supportive environment, and be appreciated as a vital team member contributing to the company’s ongoing success.
