This role as a Seasonal Valet Driver at the Nashville Omni offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant team from spring through summer 2026. With a starting pay ranging between $15 and $20 per hour plus the potential for daily cash tips, this position provides an attractive earning potential while gaining valuable experience in hospitality and customer service. The work environment promotes flexibility with shifts available on weekdays, weekends, holidays, and various times throughout the day, catering to diverse scheduling needs.
As a Guest Service Associate and Valet Driver, you will be the first point of contact for guests arriving at one of Nashville’s premier hotel destinations. This role requires delivering outstanding hospitality by greeting guests warmly, assisting with luggage, and ensuring the safe and efficient parking and retrieval of vehicles. The position demands a strong focus on safety, customer interaction, and operational accuracy, as well as the ability to multitask and address guest inquiries about local amenities and transportation.
During your shifts, you will maintain a friendly and professional demeanor, engaging with guests within close proximity, and use polite salutations and guest names to personalize every interaction. You will handle the responsibilities of parking vehicles carefully, assisting with luggage delivery and pick up, and providing shuttle services when applicable. Additionally, you will explain parking procedures, rates, and issue claim checks while ensuring all documentation such as key tags and damage surveys are accurately completed and maintained.

Job Requirements
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state you are applying to work or within a commutable distance from the state you are applying to work
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
- Ability to read and write standard English language
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid driver’s license for the state of work or commutable distance
- One month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English language
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s
- Ability to perform these operations using units of American money
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant friendly and professional demeanor with all guests coworkers and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor
- Use guest last names during interactions
- Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
- Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
- Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions taxis reservations and other inquiries
- Provide guests with information about outlets meeting rooms and amenities of the facility as well as main attractions in the area
- Deliver messages items and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to appropriate places approved by the location
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
- Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks from all guests prior to issuing keys
- Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag guest folio location of vehicle damage survey and claim check receipt from all vehicles taken into the valet system
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
