Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid driver’s license for the state of work or within commutable distance
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Availability to work weekends and 2nd shift preferred
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 100 pounds
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Willingness to follow established practices and departmental guidelines
- Ability to work flexible schedules including holidays and evenings
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid driver’s license for the state of work or within commutable distance
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of money
- Understanding of 24 hour and military time systems
- Understanding of rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
- Use salutation of the day and greet guests to the location
- Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and general inquiries
- Provide information about facility outlets, meeting rooms and amenities
- Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to approved places
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
- Issue and collect claim checks securely
- Complete and maintain all ticket information including vehicle location and damage survey
- Calculate and collect revenue when needed
