Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for the state or commuting distance
- One month related experience or equivalent
- Knowledge of customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to comprehend and write simple instructions and correspondence
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Understanding of timekeeping systems and applicable rates
- Ability to operate manual transmission preferred
- Physically able to lift up to 100 pounds
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends, holidays, and nights
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid driver’s license for the state or within commutable distance
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic with American money
- Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates related to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor
- Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and inquiries
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests
- Issue claim checks and collect them prior to issuing keys
- Complete and maintain ticket information accurately
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles as needed
