Aramark is currently seeking dedicated Valet Drivers to join its team at The Methodist Hospital, operating under the direct supervision of the ramp supervisor. This position involves performing a variety of valet duties to ensure a high standard of service that aligns with both Aramark's and The Methodist Hospital's policies. The role is integral to maintaining a smooth, safe, and efficient parking operation that enhances the overall guest experience. Valet Drivers at Aramark are expected to uphold professionalism in appearance and conduct while interacting positively with patients, visitors, staff, and leadership. This position demands reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to safety and security, including adherence to all driving regulations and company procedures.

The Valet Driver is responsible for safely parking and retrieving customer vehicles, preserving the integrity and condition of each vehicle entrusted to their care. This includes conducting detailed inspections of vehicles upon receipt and ensuring that vehicles and keys are securely stored at all times. The role requires strict compliance with valet and hospital security protocols, including the use of assigned keycards exclusively for authorized activities. Additionally, Valet Drivers must maintain cleanliness and orderliness within all assigned areas, promoting a welcoming and organized environment.

This position may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged walking or standing, highlighting the importance of physical stamina and readiness. Uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE) are necessary to comply with hospital and departmental safety standards. Valet Drivers must demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, and have the ability to work independently with limited supervision. Prior experience as a driver is preferred, though not mandatory, and a valid driver’s license is required.

Job Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Physical ability to perform lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing
  • Willingness to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment
  • Previous driving experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Safely parks and retrieves customer vehicles while maintaining each vehicle in the same condition entrusted to our care
  • Follows all valet policies and procedures, as well as state driving and safety regulations, including conducting detailed vehicle inspections upon receipt
  • Ensures all valet vehicles and keys are secured at all times in accordance with company and hospital security procedures
  • Utilizes assigned keycards solely for authorized valet operations and customer vehicle parking activities while on duty
  • Maintains consistent attendance, punctuality, and reliability in accordance with departmental expectations
  • Maintains a neat, clean, and professional appearance while adhering to departmental and hospital dress code standards
  • Keeps all assigned loading, parking, and valet areas clean, organized, and presentable at all times
  • Promotes positive interpersonal and interdisciplinary relationships through professional communication and conduct with guests, patients, visitors, staff, and leadership
