The position requires a proactive individual who not only operates vehicles but also serves as one of the first points of contact for guests, welcoming them warmly and assisting with luggage and directions. This role demands physical endurance, the ability to multitask, excellent communication skills, and a customer-centric attitude to ensure guests feel valued and their expectations are exceeded. Valet Attendants must possess significant knowledge of the hotel property, local traffic patterns, and surrounding amenities such as shops, dining options, and entertainment venues to effectively assist guests. Safety is a critical aspect, as the attendant is responsible for the security of vehicles, their contents, and vehicle keys, requiring vigilance and adherence to strict security clearances. Job Requirements
- Valid driver's license

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous driving experience
- experience in valet parking preferred
- knowledge of traffic patterns around property
- familiarity with hotel policies and procedures
- ability to communicate effectively with guests and associates
- ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- guest service oriented
- strong multitasking skills
Job Duties
- Assist with parking and retrieval of guests' vehicles
- welcome guests and assist with luggage
- provide directions and related assistance
- monitor and maintain safety, security, and cleanliness of parking areas
- report any security or safety problems
- open hotel main doors and assist guests entering and leaving the property
- tag guest vehicle keys with date, time, registration number, make/model, and room or contact number
- verify guest receipts when returning vehicles
- monitor and direct personal and commercial vehicle traffic
- document and report vehicle incidents
- practice safety standards and report hazardous conditions
- follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction
