Job Requirements
- Must hold a valid driver’s license
- Must be available to work night shifts from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM
- Must work weekends
- Ability to handle physical demands including lifting up to 100 pounds
- Availability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Willingness to follow established procedures and policies
- Ability to provide courteous and professional guest service
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- One month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of customer service principles and processes
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend standard English
- Strong communication skills
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Understanding of 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to operate manual transmission (highly desirable)
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintains pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests and co-workers
- Acknowledges and greets guests within five feet using guest last names
- Uses appropriate salutations and welcomes guests to the location
- Practices proper phone etiquette
- Parks and retrieves vehicles safely and cautiously
- Assists guests with bell services and luggage storage
- Opens vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assists guests with directions, reservations and inquiries
- Provides information about local amenities and attractions
- Delivers messages, items and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttles guests to approved locations
- Explains parking rates and retrieval procedures
- Issues and collects claim checks accurately
- Completes and maintains all ticket information
- Calculates and collects revenue when necessary
