SP+, a Metropolis company, is a pioneering artificial intelligence company dedicated to transforming parking and mobility experiences. By leveraging advanced computer vision technology, SP+ offers seamless checkout-free parking, eliminating the need for tickets, machines, apps, or credit cards. The core promise is simple—customers can just "drive in and drive out," enhancing convenience and saving valuable time.

As the largest parking network in America, SP+ operates with a strong presence having over 23,000 employees who support mobility across more than 4,000 locations spanning North America and Europe. The company's innovative approach is revolutionizing the parking industry by using AI-powered solutions to streamline everyday activities that impact millions of people daily.

SP+ is committed to reinventing parking by focusing on creating smooth, frictionless experiences that save time and improve convenience for users. The company’s vision extends beyond parking, aiming to enable checkout-free experiences in various environments, making everyday living, working, and playing more remarkable and efficient.

The Valet Driver position at the UT Medical Center is a full-time role, offering a Monday through Friday schedule with shifts available from 7am to 3pm or 9am to 5pm. The pay rate is $12 per hour plus tips. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a dynamic, client-focused environment and have a genuine passion for providing excellent customer service.

As a Valet Driver, you will be part of a team that exemplifies the company’s core values of Ingenuity, Diversity, and Integrity. This role offers a unique opportunity for individuals looking for a career entry point, with many team members starting as valets and growing within the company. You'll interact with customers daily, contributing directly to their satisfaction and experience.

The position involves safely driving and parking vehicles, maintaining a high standard of customer service, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Valet Drivers are expected to wear a clean uniform, be punctual, and uphold the company’s professional standards throughout their shifts. You will also assist in managing client requests, resolving concerns effectively, and communicating proactively with both clients and management to support smooth operations.

Additional responsibilities include thorough vehicle inspections, explaining valet rates, adherence to traffic laws, and reporting any incidents or hazards promptly. Understanding the local area—including major streets, landmarks, and freeways—is essential to provide seamless transportation experiences for customers. This role demands physical activity such as standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds, thus requiring a reasonable physical fitness level.

SP+ fosters an inclusive and equitable workplace and is committed to equal employment opportunities for all candidates regardless of race, color, nationality, gender, age, or any other legally protected characteristic. The company also utilizes automated employment decision tools (AEDT) as part of its recruitment process to ensure fair and consistent evaluation of candidates.
