Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to operate both standard and automatic transmissions
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must successfully complete the Port Authority badging process
- Must successfully complete the process to obtain a U.S. Customs Seal
- Must maintain a clean driving record
- Must have ability to operate vehicles on the airport tarmac
- Must complete airport tarmac/ramp driving training program
- Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Must be able to walk up and down stairs on the tarmac throughout the day
- Must be well-groomed and wear complete uniform with ABM identification and PPE
- Must have verbal and written fluency in English
- Must be able to follow safety procedures and adhere to tarmac guidelines
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Drive a luxury vehicle (Jaguar) and escort customers between the car and the jet bridge and gate in a professional manner
- Ensure safety, world class customer service, and communication skills during all interactions
- Carry and use the required vehicle items including a mobile communication device, flashlight, large umbrella, hi-vis safety vest, and handheld vacuum
- Maintain a neat appearance and wear complete uniform with ABM identification and appropriate personal protective equipment
- Provide premier customer service and demonstrate knowledge about the luxury vehicle
- Fill out daily logs and submit them to United Airlines at the end of each shift
- Adhere to tarmac driving guidelines as provided by United Airlines and the Port Authority of NY & NJ
- Perform daily interior cleaning of the vehicle including wiping the dashboard and vacuuming seats and floors
- Arrange for exterior vehicle washes and fuel vehicle as necessary
- Escort customers to or from the vehicle upon United's request
- Ensure customers hold handrails when ascending or descending stairs
- Immediately and correctly report any accidents
- Escort customers between the car and jet bridge and gate respectfully and professionally
