ABM's extensive service portfolio includes janitorial services, engineering, parking management, electrical and lighting solutions, energy and electric vehicle charging infrastructure, HVAC and mechanical services, landscape and turf maintenance, and mission-critical services. The company serves a diverse array of industries, from commercial office complexes, universities, and airports to hospitals, data centers, manufacturing plants, distribution centers, entertainment venues, and beyond.
At ABM, you will join a dynamic and military-friendly employer committed to creating meaningful career growth opportunities. ABM values diversity and inclusion, fostering a workplace that embraces all individuals regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status. The company is dedicated to supporting candidates with disabilities by providing reasonable accommodations and ensuring a welcoming application process. ABM also participates in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security E-Verify program, affirming the company's commitment to legal employment eligibility verification.
This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to ABM’s mission at the frontline, providing essential valet services with professionalism, courtesy, and care. The Valet role is ideal for individuals entering the workforce or returning after a hiatus, including veterans who want to leverage their skills in a civilian environment. The position is part-time with a work schedule from 5 pm to 11 pm and pays $17 per hour, with compensation varying based on the candidate's experience, location, and skills.
As a Valet at ABM, you will play a crucial role in managing vehicle traffic flow and ensuring guests experience smooth, friendly, and efficient service. Your responsibilities will include explaining valet procedures to customers, monitoring parking to prevent illegal activities, assisting guests with loading and unloading their vehicles, securing keys, handling payments, and reconciling daily revenue. You will operate both standard and automatic transmission vehicles safely, adhering to all traffic laws and facility policies while working outdoors in varying weather conditions. This role requires sharp communication skills, attention to detail, and an ability to predict and manage parking demands during peak times.
