Job Description

ABM (NYSE: ABM) is one of the world's largest providers of facility services and solutions, known for its commitment to creating cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable environments. Established in 1909, ABM has grown into a global leader, serving more than 20,000 clients across diverse industries including commercial office buildings, universities, airports, hospitals, data centers, manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and entertainment venues. Operating from over 350 offices in the United States, United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, and other international locations, the company employs more than 100,000 team members and generates annualized revenue approaching $8 billion. ABM’s expansive range of services covers janitorial, engineering, parking, electrical and lighting, energy and electric vehicle charging infrastructure, HVAC and mechanical services, landscape and turf care, as well as mission-critical solutions.

The Valet position at ABM offers an exciting opportunity for individuals entering or re-entering the workforce, particularly those with limited experience or education. With a competitive pay rate of $20.00 per hour and a scheduled work time of Friday through Sunday from 4:00 pm to 12:30 am, this role is ideal for candidates looking to join a military-friendly employer who values dedication and professionalism.

In the role of Valet, you will be integral to providing professional, courteous, and compassionate guest services. You will be responsible for managing traffic flow efficiently, communicating valet procedures and directions clearly to guests, and responding effectively to customer and team member inquiries. Your duties include monitoring parking compliance, securing vehicles, assisting guests with loading and unloading, and predicting traffic flow peaks to ensure smooth operations. This role demands accuracy in handling valet payments, tipping pools, daily revenue reconciliation, and inventory needs such as currency and coin supplies.

Safety and compliance are paramount as you will operate and park vehicles in line with traffic laws, facility policies, and pedestrian regulations. Working outdoors, you must be prepared to handle varying climate conditions for extended periods while maintaining a clean and organized work area. This position emphasizes strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain a welcoming attitude toward guests at all times.

ABM champions diversity and inclusion, offering equal opportunity employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status. The company prioritizes reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities and actively participates in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security E-Verify program to verify employment eligibility.

As a military-friendly company, ABM provides veteran candidates with access to world-class training programs and meaningful career opportunities where they can leverage their military skills in a civilian environment. This makes the Valet role not only a job but a gateway to future growth within a forward-thinking company committed to employee development and sustainability.
