This job opportunity is for a Guest Service Associate at Towne Park, a role central to the company’s mission of delivering exceptional hospitality through attentive, courteous, and efficient service. As a Guest Service Associate, you will play a critical role in providing frontline customer care, ensuring guests feel welcomed and well-assisted from the moment they arrive. The position requires attentiveness to detail, excellent communication skills, and a friendly demeanor, as associates are tasked with parking and retrieving guest vehicles safely and promptly, assisting with luggage handling, and offering information about the facility and surrounding area. This position is primarily a full-time role with a 40-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, providing stability and no weekend shifts.

Compensation for the Guest Service Associate position is competitive, with an hourly base pay of $15.16 plus tips, recognizing the value of skill, experience, and job-related contributions. In this role, the Guest Service Associate is responsible for delivering courteous greeting and assistance, showing genuine care by acknowledging guests by name, and practicing professional phone etiquette. The associate is also required to operate vehicles cautiously while parking and retrieving them, assist guests with bell services, and provide accurate information on parking rates, facility amenities, and local attractions. All interactions with guests and colleagues should be conducted with a positive attitude, demonstrating reliability and professionalism.

Physical demands of the job include the ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and stand or walk for extended periods while working mostly outdoors in varying weather conditions. Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • must hold a valid driver's license for the state you are applying to work, or within a commutable distance from the state you are applying to work (as applicable)
  • one (1) month related experience and/or training
  • or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • ability to read and write standard English language
  • ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
  • ability to write simple correspondence
  • ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients and other employees of the organization
  • ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
  • ability to perform these operations using units of American money
  • ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • maintains pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients
  • acknowledges and greets guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor
  • uses guest last names during interactions
  • uses salutation of the day and welcomes guests to the location
  • practices proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • posts up in designated areas when not completing tasks
  • parks and retrieves vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • assists guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
  • opens all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
  • provides guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms and/or amenities of the facility as well as main attractions in the area
  • delivers messages, items and/or guest amenities as requested
  • shuttles guests to appropriate places that are approved by the location
  • explains parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
  • issues claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collects claim checks from all guests prior to issuing keys
  • consistently completes and maintains all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, location of vehicle, damage survey and claim check receipt from all vehicles taken into the valet system
  • consistently completes location on all key tags after parking vehicle
  • calculates and collects revenue for vehicles when needed
