Job Qualifications

Less than high school education or equivalent experience
prior valet driving experience preferred
ability to perform essential job duties satisfactorily
valid driver’s license if driving is required
good customer service skills
basic math skills including operations with money
ability to read and write simple correspondence
effective interpersonal skills with customers and team members
punctual and reliable
ability to maintain clean and professional appearance
ability to handle transactions if applicable
adaptability and problem-solving skills under typical work conditions.

Job Duties

Ensure timely dispatching of valet attendants to park and retrieve guest vehicles
monitor guest wait times to meet service standards
secure and keep track of all guest vehicle keys
accept and process valet fees if applicable
answer telephone using proper telephone etiquette
provide customers with valet rates and local area knowledge
respond promptly and courteously to customer questions or issues
report accidents, policy violations, safety hazards or unusual occurrences to supervisors
assist ramp supervisor in maintaining clear ramp by sending runners to front door
help maintain cleanliness around garage office
be punctual and maintain complete uniform
assist supervisors and managers with additional duties as assigned.
