The Valet City Manager plays a pivotal role in PMC’s operations by overseeing multiple valet parking locations within a designated city or region. This full-time, exempt position involves managing the operational performance, financial health, and service delivery standards of several valet parking sites to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and client retention. Reporting directly to an Area Manager, the Valet City Manager serves as the primary liaison between PMC, property owners, business partners, and municipal stakeholders. The role demands strong leadership skills to recruit, train, and manage valet supervisors and attendants, thereby cultivating a skilled and engaged team dedicated to operational excellence.

Key responsibility areas include optimizing operational workflows to enhance efficiency, ensuring compliance with all company policies and local regulations, and driving revenue growth through strategic pricing and service innovation. The City Manager conducts frequent site visits and safety audits, manages payroll and scheduling to control labor costs, and leverages technology including valet equipment and payment systems to streamline services. Financial acumen is critical, as the role involves monitoring budgets, analyzing financial reports, and preparing forecasts for senior management review.

Customer experience stands at the forefront of this position; the Valet City Manager must uphold high standards for guest interactions, promptly addressing feedback and complaints to continuously improve service quality. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business hospitality management or related field preferred
  • Minimum 5 years experience in valet parking hospitality transportation or operations management
  • Proven track record managing multiple locations and teams
  • Strong financial acumen including budgeting and financial reporting
  • Experience in client relationship management and contract negotiations
  • Familiarity with local parking laws permits and compliance regulations
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Maintain acceptable motor vehicle record with no more than three moving violations in three years
  • Ability to pass and maintain clean background check
  • Willingness to travel frequently
  • Ability to work flexible hours including during financial close periods
  • Effective communication and leadership skills
  • Proficiency with operational technology and software
