Job Description
InterPark Holdings Inc. is North America's premier owner, operator, and developer of parking facilities, recognized for delivering a superior parking experience across various urban locations. As a company, InterPark Holdings combines outstanding ownership perspective with deep operational expertise, managing complex, high volume parking properties under their respected InterPark and PreFlight brands. By integrating advanced garage access, payment, and security technology, along with leading-edge point-of-sale support systems, InterPark has positioned itself at the forefront of parking facility management. Their facilities cater to diverse sectors, including hotels, restaurants, commercial properties, and event centers, providing seamless parking solutions that ease customer access and enhance convenience.
InterPark Holdings continually seeks enthusiastic and qualified candidates who are eager to become part of their team and contribute to their ongoing success. The company is committed to offering competitive pay along with a comprehensive benefits package in a work environment that fosters growth and professional development. The role posted offers a part-time position involving approximately 30-32 hours per week during evening shifts from 4 pm to 12 am, with a pay rate of $16.45 an hour.
The position being offered is for a Valet Attendant, a vital role responsible for managing the smooth movement of customer vehicles between drop-off points, such as hotels or restaurants, to remote parking lots or garages, and vice versa. This job requires a high level of care and attention to detail while driving and parking vehicles, which may include both automatic and manual transmission cars. The valet attendant ensures quick vehicle retrieval to maintain an optimal flow and provides excellent customer service by responding efficiently to customer needs and inquiries. Additionally, the valet attendant plays a key role in the safety and security of the parking facility by identifying and reporting any hazards, accidents, or suspicious activities immediately to management, remaining vigilant at all times.
Beyond driving and parking duties, attendants may help customers enter and exit vehicles and may occasionally support cashier duties or light maintenance tasks within the garage. The role demands physical endurance to handle prolonged standing and walking, frequently navigating confined spaces, ramps, and various weather conditions, especially when working in an outdoor environment. Candidates must demonstrate strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and an ability to perform well in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This position is based in the Chicago area, and the successful applicant must be willing and able to work during evening hours with flexibility.
Overall, this valet attendant role at InterPark Holdings presents an excellent opportunity for people who enjoy interacting with customers, have strong driving capabilities, and want to be part of a reputable company that values safety, professionalism, and career growth. With a competitive wage and a welcoming company culture, InterPark Holdings strives to nurture talent that shares their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
