The Guest Service Associate plays a vital role within the Towne Park team by providing outstanding hospitality services to guests. This position is responsible for parking and retrieving vehicles while ensuring the safety and efficiency of service. Additionally, the role involves assisting guests with luggage services such as delivery and pick up during arrival and departure times. The Guest Service Associate maintains a professional and friendly demeanor, greeting guests within five feet and using their last names during interactions to enhance the personalized customer experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate vehicles safely in various conditions. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and possess basic customer service knowledge and abilities including understanding parking rate structures and handling monetary transactions.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for the applicable state or commutable distance
- One month related experience or training or equivalent combination
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to comprehend instructions and correspondence
- Ability to perform basic math operations with American currency
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Physical capability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally
- Capability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Availability Monday through Friday from 6 am to 10 pm
- Willingness to follow specific operational instructions and departmental guidelines
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid driver’s license for the state or commutable distance
- One month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend and write simple instructions and correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information to guests and employees
- Basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing with units of American money
- Understanding of 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
- Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
- Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
- Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
- Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and inquiries
- Provide information about facility outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and local attractions
- Deliver messages, items and guest amenities
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures upon guest arrival
- Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys
- Collect claim checks before issuing keys
- Complete and maintain all ticket information accurately
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
