Job Description

Parking Management Company (PMC) is a nationally recognized leader in hospitality-centered parking services, headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee. Specializing in valet and self-parking management, shuttle services, event parking, and porter/bell services, PMC caters to a broad range of industries including luxury hotels, resorts, healthcare facilities, and event venues. Renowned for its commitment to excellence and a guest-first orientation, PMC operates as an essential extension of the hospitality experience, ensuring seamless, high-touch service delivery to both partners and guests. This dedication to superior service helps PMC maintain its reputation as a trusted partner across multiple markets nationwide. PMC prides itself on fostering a professional work environment dedicated to safety and quality, providing employees with opportunities to grow while supporting a culture centered on respect and collaboration.

The Valet Attendant position within PMC is more than just handling vehicles—it is a vital role that directly impacts the guest experience from the moment guests arrive to when they depart. This position plays a frontline role in hospitality, requiring the valet attendant to create a welcoming atmosphere while delivering safe and efficient parking services. Valet attendants at PMC are responsible for inspecting vehicles, ensuring their security, and managing traffic flow professionally and efficiently. They also represent the company’s brand through their polished appearance, courteous demeanor, and ability to handle customer inquiries and challenges with diplomacy and confidence.

PMC offers both full-time and part-time employment opportunities for this role, which is classified as non-exempt, meaning valet attendants are eligible for overtime pay as per federal, state, and local laws. The compensation for this role ranges from $13.00 to $20.00+ per hour, which includes base pay plus tips that vary by market and are influenced by service quality and customer interactions. Valet attendants gain valuable customer service skills while working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that calls for physical stamina, adaptability, and teamwork.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, engaging with people, and working as part of a team dedicated to providing high-quality hospitality. PMC supports its employees through comprehensive benefits including medical, vision, and dental insurance upon eligibility, 401(k) options, supplemental life and critical illness insurance, paid time off, ongoing training, tuition assistance, and access to discount programs. Valets are expected to maintain consistent attendance, professionalism, and compliance with all company policies and safety standards, ensuring every guest receives exceptional treatment that reflects the highest hospitality standards. With an emphasis on pay transparency, equal employment opportunity, and employee development, PMC offers a rewarding career path for those seeking to excel in hospitality-oriented parking management.
