The Guest Service Associate role at Towne Park is vital in upholding the company’s mission by providing outstanding hospitality services to guests in a courteous, friendly, and efficient manner. This position is responsible for parking and retrieving guest vehicles promptly and safely, assisting with luggage services, and ensuring guests receive a warm and professional welcome throughout their visit. The role involves engaging with guests with respect and friendliness, offering assistance with directions, reservations, and facility amenities, and effectively handling parking operations including ticketing and payment collection. The Guest Service Associate acts as the face of Towne Park, representing the company’s values and commitment to exceptional customer service.

This hourly position offers a base pay of $16.90 plus tips, with a work schedule covering Monday through Sunday. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within a commutable distance
  • One month related experience or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to operate a vehicle safely
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 100 pounds
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Ability to follow established procedures and guidelines
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Customer service oriented

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state applying to work or within a commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
  • Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor
  • Use guest last names during interactions
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
  • Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
  • Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
  • Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
  • Provide guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms and/or amenities of the facility and main attractions in the area
  • Deliver messages, items and/or guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
  • Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks prior to issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, location of vehicle, damage survey and claim check receipt
  • Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
