The Guest Service Associate position at Towne Park is integral in upholding the company’s reputation for delivering exceptional service. This role focuses on providing attentive and friendly hospitality to guests by efficiently parking and retrieving vehicles while ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed. The Guest Service Associate assists guests with luggage handling, directions, and other service needs ensuring a positive and memorable experience from arrival through departure. This full-time hourly position offers a competitive base pay starting at $19.50 per hour plus tips and includes a $2.21 shift differential for overnight shifts. The work schedule spans Monday through Sunday, requiring flexibility and dedication.

In this role, associates are expected to maintain a professional and pleasant demeanor, greet guests courteously within close proximity, and use respectful communication techniques such as addressing guests by their last names. The associate takes responsibility for conveying parking rates and retrieval procedures clearly, managing claim checks, and accurately recording vehicle information including damage surveys and key tags. They also provide additional assistance by answering questions about local amenities, shuttle services, and other guest requests. Towne Park equips its associates with the tools to ensure smooth operations, and associates contribute to a safe and organized parking environment by parking and retrieving vehicles carefully and assisting with bell services and luggage storage.

Working conditions for the Guest Service Associate include primarily outdoor duties with potential exposure to varying weather conditions, requiring physical stamina to occasionally lift heavy items up to 100 pounds and to stand or walk extensively. The role demands a valid driver’s license and basic knowledge of vehicle operations including manual transmissions and parking maneuvers. Job Duties

  • maintains pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers and clients
  • acknowledges and greets guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor
  • uses guest last names during interactions
  • uses salutation of the day and welcomes guests to the location
  • practices proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • posts up in designated areas when not completing tasks
  • parks and retrieves vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • assists guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
  • opens all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
  • provides guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms and/or amenities of the facility as well as main attractions in the area
  • delivers messages, items and/or guest amenities as requested
  • shuttles guests to appropriate places that are approved by the location
  • explains parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
  • issues claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collects claim checks from all guests prior to issuing keys
  • consistently completes and maintains all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, location of vehicle, damage survey and claim check receipt from all vehicles taken into the valet system
  • consistently completes location on all key tags after parking vehicle
  • calculates and collects revenue for vehicles when needed
