The hourly base pay for the Guest Service Associate position ranges from $15.16 to $18 per hour, complemented by tips, reflective of the skills, experience, education, and the regional market. Employees typically work Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 5 PM, a schedule designed to promote work-life balance while serving the needs of guests efficiently. Benefits include access to accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity insurance, telemedicine services, and participation in a 401k retirement savings plan, contingent on job classification, duration of employment, and hours worked. The role of Guest Service Associate is pivotal in delivering Towne Park’s promise of excellent hospitality services. The associate acts as the frontline ambassador for the company, providing attentive, friendly, and professional service to all guests. Core responsibilities include welcoming guests warmly, assisting with luggage, properly parking and retrieving vehicles, and offering helpful information about the facility and local attractions. Guest Service Associates engage directly with clients, utilizing courteous communication practices such as addressing guests by last names and maintaining a positive demeanor throughout all interactions.
Operational excellence is a key aspect of the role. Guest Service Associates are tasked with managing vehicle parking and retrieval with care and precision, ensuring safety and efficiency. Responsibilities also cover issuing claim checks, recording vehicle information accurately, collecting payments when necessary, and upholding Towne Park's stringent protocols to safeguard client property. A thorough understanding of parking rates, ticketing procedures, and guest information systems is essential. In addition, the position may involve assisting guests with transportation, reservations, and delivering messages or amenities, highlighting the versatile nature of the job.
Physical demands and working conditions for this position are significant. The role requires frequent walking, standing, running, and handling of objects, often under outdoor environmental conditions including heat and cold. Customer service skills are paramount, including proficiency in English, basic math skills, and the ability to comprehend and deliver clear communication. A valid driver’s license and the ability to operate vehicles safely, preferably including manual transmissions, enhance an associate's capabilities. Experience, though minimal, in related training or employment is advantageous. Towne Park emphasizes adherence to established procedures and departmental guidelines, fostering a structured yet supportive work environment where decisions impact operational success and customer satisfaction.
This position offers individuals an opportunity not just to join a company but to contribute to a mission-driven environment where everyday actions make a positive difference.
