Towne Park is currently seeking a Guest Service Associate to join their dynamic team. This is a part-time opportunity offering an hourly wage of $25 plus tips, with a work schedule from 9am to 2pm and 3pm to 8pm, Monday through Friday. In this role, the Guest Service Associate acts as the face of Towne Park’s hospitality services, responsible for ensuring guests receive attentive, warm, and professional treatment throughout their visit. Duties include parking and retrieving vehicles safely, providing luggage assistance, and delivering exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries, guiding guests, and facilitating their overall experience. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the company's reputation for superior guest service by demonstrating courteous communication, careful attention to detail, and quick responsiveness.

The Guest Service Associate must be capable of operating manual transmissions and performing tasks such as parallel parking, handling vehicle keys securely, and maintaining accurate ticketing information. Employees assist guests with directions, transportation arrangements, and provide information about amenities and local attractions. They may be required to shuttle guests and manage billing for parking services. The role involves physical demands such as lifting up to 100 pounds and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. It requires a valid driver’s license and at least one month of related experience or equivalent training. Job Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license for the state of employment or commutable distance
  • One month related experience or training, or equivalent education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer service principles
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend simple English
  • Effective communication skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to understand and apply 24 hour time and parking rates
  • Ability to operate manual transmission
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license in the state of employment or within a commutable distance
  • One month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Understanding of 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand parking rates
  • Ability to operate manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests
  • Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • Park and retrieve vehicles safely
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and inquiries
  • Provide information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities and local attractions
  • Deliver messages, items and guest amenities upon request
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
  • Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys
  • Collect claim checks before issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipt
  • Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
