Job Description
Towne Park is a leading hospitality services company dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences to millions of patients, visitors, and guests across various locations. With a strong commitment to creating smiles and making a positive impact, Towne Park operates in the niche of hospitality services with a focus on valet parking and guest assistance. The company prides itself on fostering an environment where every employee has the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the guest experience, whether by providing compassionate service to patients and their families or ensuring guests enjoy a smooth and memorable stay. Towne Park’s reputation is built on professionalism, care, and attention to detail, making it a desirable place for hospitality-focused individuals seeking a rewarding career that goes beyond just a job.
The Guest Service Associate role at Towne Park is integral to maintaining the high standards of service that the company promises. This position is designed for individuals who enjoy interacting with people and thrive in dynamic, customer-facing environments. A Guest Service Associate is responsible for a variety of tasks centered around valet parking, guest vehicle management, and luggage assistance. This role requires not only excellent customer service skills but also physical stamina and attention to safety. Candidates selected for this role will be compensated competitively, with an hourly base pay of $17.75 plus tips and a $2.25 shift differential for overnight shifts. The work schedule includes shifts from Monday through Sunday, reflecting the round-the-clock nature of hospitality services.
A career at Towne Park offers more than just competitive pay. Employees are eligible for a range of benefits such as accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, telemedicine services, and participation in the company’s 401k retirement savings plan, all subject to eligibility requirements based on job classification and hours worked. These benefits demonstrate Towne Park’s commitment to the health, well-being, and future financial security of its workforce. However, it is important to note that seasonal and temporary employees do not qualify for these benefits.
In this role, the Guest Service Associate will be the face of Towne Park to guests, consistently providing a friendly and professional demeanor. Greeting guests warmly, using polite salutations, and assisting with directions, luggage, and vehicle parking form the core of the job. The associate must have the ability to communicate effectively, present information clearly, and operate vehicles cautiously, including manual transmission vehicles and performing parallel parking. The role also involves handling financial transactions related to parking fees, ensuring accuracy in managing tickets, claim checks, and guest folios. Precision and attentiveness are crucial, as the duties directly impact the guest's overall experience and the smooth operation of the parking facility.
Physical demands are also a significant part of this position, with requirements to exert force for lifting and moving objects up to 100 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently. The job entails working primarily outdoors, exposed to varied weather conditions such as heat and cold for extended periods during shifts. This makes physical endurance and comfort working in challenging environmental conditions essential. Furthermore, the position requires the ability to perform a range of physical activities, including walking, running, climbing stairs, and balancing, making it suitable for individuals who are physically active and enjoy engaging roles.
Overall, the Guest Service Associate at Towne Park plays a critical role in delivering exceptional, personalized hospitality services that enhance the guest experience at facilities across the country. This role is ideally suited for enthusiastic individuals with strong customer service skills, a valid driver’s license, and the physical capability to meet the demands of the job. Towne Park offers a career opportunity where associates can make a meaningful impact daily, backed by competitive pay and a supportive benefits package.
