The Guest Service Associate role at Towne Park is crucial in maintaining the company’s high standards of guest service and operational efficiency. This position is a full-time role with a structured work schedule from Monday through Sunday, offering an hourly base pay of $25 plus tips, reflecting the company’s commitment to fair and competitive compensation. Employees in this role are essential ambassadors of the brand, responsible for managing vehicle parking and retrieval with utmost care and attention to safety protocols. The Guest Service Associate also assists guests with various services such as luggage handling and providing information about local amenities and attractions.
In this role, associates are expected to maintain a friendly, professional demeanor and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests from the moment they arrive. They are trained to handle tasks efficiently, ensuring that all guest interactions are positive and that vehicles are parked and retrieved promptly. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, as most duties are performed outside for extended periods. Additional responsibilities include managing parking rates, issuing claim checks, and accurately recording vehicle and guest information to maintain a secure and organized valet system.

Job Requirements
- high school diploma or general education degree
- valid driver’s license for the state or within commutable distance
- minimum one month related experience or training, or equivalent education and experience
- knowledge of customer and personal service principles
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- understanding of 24-hour and military time systems
- ability to understand applicable rates
- physical ability to perform parking duties including parallel parking and vehicle handling
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- must hold a valid driver's license for the state you are applying to work, or within a commutable distance from the state you are applying to work (as applicable)
- one (1) month related experience and/or training
- or equivalent combination of education and experience
- knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- ability to read and write standard English language
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- ability to write simple correspondence
- ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients and other employees of the organization
- ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
- ability to perform these operations using units of American money
- ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- maintains pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients
- acknowledges and greets guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor
- uses guest last names during interactions
- uses salutation of the day and welcomes guests to the location
- practices proper Towne Park phone etiquette
- posts up in designated areas when not completing tasks
- parks and retrieves vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
- assists guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
- opens all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
- provides guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms and/or amenities of the facility as well as main attractions in the area
- delivers messages, items and/or guest amenities as requested
- shuttles guests to appropriate places that are approved by the location
- explains parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
- issues claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collects claim checks from all guests prior to issuing keys
- consistently completes and maintains all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, location of vehicle, damage survey and claim check receipt from all vehicles taken into the valet system
- consistently completes location on all key tags after parking vehicle
- calculates and collects revenue for vehicles when needed
