The Guest Service Associate role at Towne Park is a vital position responsible for delivering exceptional hospitality services to guests in a friendly, attentive, and efficient manner. This role requires the associate to manage the parking and retrieval of guest vehicles safely and promptly while assisting guests with luggage and other needs upon arrival and departure. Working primarily on a schedule from Saturday to Monday, 3 PM to 11:30 PM, this position offers an hourly wage of $20.74 plus tips, reflecting Towne Park's commitment to competitive, fair compensation based on skills, experience, education, and location. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must hold a valid driver's license for the state you are applying to work or within a commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English language
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to add and subtract three-digit numbers and multiply and divide with tens and hundreds
  • Ability to perform operations using units of American money
  • Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
  • Practice proper phone etiquette
  • Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
  • Provide guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and local attractions
  • Deliver messages, items or guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests
  • Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks before issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey, and claim check receipt
  • Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
