The Guest Service Associate role at Towne Park is integral to the company’s mission of creating memorable and positive experiences for guests. This position is responsible for greeting and assisting visitors in a friendly and professional manner. The associate parks and retrieves guest vehicles carefully and safely, assists with luggage handling including delivery and pick-up when applicable, and supports guests by providing directions, answering inquiries, and offering information about the location and nearby attractions. Each shift presents opportunities to engage warmly with guests, delivering a personalized touch that enhances their visit. The Guest Service Associate must also manage parking logistics accurately, including issuing claim checks, recording ticket details, and collecting revenues when necessary. The physical demands of this role include standing for extended periods, lifting heavy objects (up to 100 pounds occasionally), and performing outdoor work in various weather conditions. Candidates need to have a valid driver’s license, the ability to operate manual transmission vehicles (highly desirable but not mandatory), and possess strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with guests and co-workers. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license for the state or commutable distance
  • One month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 100 pounds
  • Availability to work open schedule
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to follow established practices and procedures
  • Ability to work under specific operational instructions and guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state applied to work or within commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division using American money units
  • Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
  • Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
  • Provide information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and local attractions
  • Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests
  • Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks prior to issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipt
  • Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
