Job Description
Parking Management Company (PMC) is a nationally recognized leader specializing in hospitality-focused parking services. Headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, PMC offers comprehensive parking management solutions that include valet and self-parking management, shuttle services, event parking, and porter/bell assistance. Serving a variety of industries such as hotels, resorts, healthcare facilities, and event venues, PMC is committed to delivering an exceptional guest experience through seamless, high-touch service. The company prides itself on fostering a guest-first mindset and stands out as a true extension of the hospitality experience for its partners and guests alike. This dedication to quality and customer care positions PMC as one of the foremost providers in the parking management industry, known for combining operational efficiency with excellent customer service.
The Valet Attendant role at PMC is integral to upholding the company’s reputation for outstanding service. This position serves as the first and last point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and professional interactions throughout their visit. Valet Attendants are responsible for safely and efficiently parking and retrieving guest vehicles, conducting vehicle inspections and documenting findings thoroughly, and managing traffic flow to maintain a smooth operation. Safety is a top priority, with attendants required to follow strict vehicle handling and safety protocols. Beyond operational duties, the role demands outstanding customer service skills to promptly resolve any challenges while maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor.
This full-time or part-time, non-exempt position offers an hourly wage plus tip opportunities, which can vary by market and depend on service performance and customer interaction. Valet Attendants are expected to maintain regular attendance, arrive on time, and adhere fully to company grooming and uniform standards. The role requires physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds, often in varying weather conditions. Given the dynamic environment, flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is also essential. Beyond the core responsibilities, Valet Attendants contribute to a clean, organized, and presentable valet area, participate in necessary training sessions, and support team efforts to meet overall operational goals. The position offers a structured environment with a clear path for internal leadership development, underscoring PMC’s commitment to employee growth and success.
PMC provides competitive benefits upon eligibility including health, vision, and dental insurance, 401K savings plan, supplemental insurance options such as life and critical illness coverage, bonus opportunities, paid time off, tuition assistance through Bellevue University, and access to nationwide discounts via Perks at Work. As a military-friendly employer that values diversity and inclusion, PMC embraces equal opportunity employment while complying with all applicable federal, state, and local employment and labor laws. The company is committed to pay transparency, fair compensation practices, and supporting employees with reasonable accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Overall, working as a Valet Attendant at PMC is an opportunity to join a respected company that values professionalism, teamwork, and guest satisfaction in a dynamic and fast-paced hospitality environment.
