The establishment maintains a professional and polished atmosphere that reflects its commitment to hospitality and guest satisfaction. With a range of amenities and services that cater to both leisure and business travelers, Palms stands out as a leading destination for premium lodging and guest services.
The Valet Attendant position at Palms is a pivotal role that directly impacts the first and last impression guests have upon arrival and departure. Reporting to the Manager of Front Services, the Valet Attendant is responsible for delivering best-in-class front door vehicle and luggage services. This role demands a high level of professionalism, polish, and stewardship, making sure each guest's experience aligns with Palms' standards and expectations. Beyond merely parking vehicles, the attendant offers authentic greetings and cordial farewells, engages guests with helpful information, and assists them throughout their visit. Working in diverse conditions typical of desert environments such as extreme heat or cold, incline variations, and different surface types, the Valet Attendant must ensure guest vehicles are handled safely and efficiently at all times.
This role is fast-paced and requires constant interaction with guests, management, and other staff members, fostering smooth operational flow and positive guest relations. The Valet Attendant also performs duties such as monitoring vehicle condition, processing guest payments accurately, maintaining vehicle key inventory, and managing traffic effectively in the parking area. Additionally, they are tasked with following up on guest concerns or requests and reporting incidents immediately. This position requires a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles. The role demands a strong physical capability including lifting, standing, and moving vehicles and luggage. Palms values a team-oriented approach and equal employment opportunity, focusing on employee well-being, diversity, and growth. Joining the Palms team means becoming part of a respected brand that upholds integrity, hospitality, and customer satisfaction as core values.
