The Guest Service Associate position at Towne Park is a critical role dedicated to providing outstanding hospitality to guests through attentive and friendly service. Candidates will receive direct training to handle responsibilities including greeting guests by name, managing the valet ticketing system accurately, processing payments, and assisting with directions and local recommendations. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license for the state of employment or commutable distance
  • Minimum one month related experience or equivalent education and training
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend standard English
  • Ability to perform basic math operations related to cash handling
  • Ability to operate a vehicle and perform parallel parking
  • Ability to work overnight shifts
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 100 pounds
  • Comfortable working outdoors in variable weather conditions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information to guests, clients and employees
  • Ability to add and subtract three-digit numbers and perform multiplication and division with tens and hundreds
  • Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients
  • Greet guests within five feet using a professional and friendly manner and use guest last names
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
  • Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette and post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
  • Park and retrieve vehicles driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
  • Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
  • Provide guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms and amenities of the facility as well as main attractions in the area
  • Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
  • Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks prior to issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, location of vehicle, damage survey and claim check receipt
  • Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
