Margaritaville Fort Myers Beach is part of a growing collection of over 30 hotels and restaurants across Minnesota and Florida and has earned recognition as one of the best places to work, fostering a culture of empowerment, growth, and employee success.
The resort offers an exciting career opportunity for energetic, outgoing, and customer-oriented individuals to join their Valet Service team as Valet Attendants on an overnight shift. This fast-paced, guest-facing position plays a crucial role in delivering the excellent first and last impressions that are vital to the overall guest experience at Margaritaville. Valet Attendants are often the first point of contact for arriving guests and the last before they depart, making professionalism, friendliness, and efficiency essential qualities for this role.
Valet Attendants are responsible for warmly greeting guests upon arrival, assisting with vehicle entry and exit, and handling guests' luggage with care. They ensure the safe and timely parking and retrieval of guest vehicles while adhering to strict safety and security protocols, including the accurate tracking of keys and vehicles and compliance with traffic laws and property policies. Additionally, the attendants provide valuable information about resort amenities, local attractions, and transportation options, enhancing the guests’ stay with personalized recommendations and attentive service.
This role requires physical stamina as attendants will stand, walk, or run for extended periods, and handle lifting and moving heavy objects up to 50 pounds or more with assistance. The ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles safely is essential, along with keen attention to safety rules and surroundings to prevent accidents or hazards.
Working overnight at Margaritaville Beach Resort provides a unique opportunity to engage in a team-oriented environment committed to maintaining a safe, welcoming, and organized valet area. The company encourages ongoing safety training and conscious practices, promoting a positive work culture and a secure environment for guests and employees alike. Through this position, employees gain valuable skills in customer service, vehicle management, and problem-solving while contributing to the seamless operation of a popular resort destination.
TPI Hospitality, the parent company, supports its associates with various benefits such as medical and dental insurance, 401(k) plans with matching contributions, paid time off, holiday pay, employee discounts, and more.
